Syracuse New Times photographer Michael Davis photographed the Hill Cumorah Pageant, which takes place in Palmyra, NY. The Hill Cumorah Pageant, presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is an outdoor theatrical performance that takes place every July on the hillside of Cumorah. A cast of over 650 put on a grand show on a stage consisting of 10 levels and a state-of-the-art sound system. The outdoor space seats 9,000 and provides Spanish translation as well as American Sign Language interpretation.
