Rukhsana Merrise blends contemporary and cultural music reflective of her diverse West London surroundings, where she was born and raised. In September of 2014, she set out to write, record and release one song every week. This exercise resulted in a Soundcloud only EP titled September Songs — her debut album.

A unique blend of folk, soul, and hip hop, Rukhsana Merrise creates songs with powerful lyrics and intimate melodies that are worth a listen.
