It was a lovely spring evening on the early April 2014 in Auburn, NY., the last thing some star gazers expected to see was a Triangle UFO.
The sky was crystal clear so Daniel and his adult son Mark decided to do a bit of star gazing. Mark had just gotten a new tablet that had a great star map program on it. The two men were having a fascinating time holding the tablet over their heads and pointing out the stars and patterns of the various constellations overhead.
Thinking something was wrong with the tablet they decided to download the application onto their phones and continue with their star watching. But oddly neither of their cell phones would come on. Both men, perplexed by the failure of their technology, shrugged their shoulders, thought nothing off of it, and went back to admiring the sky.
It was about this time when Daniel’s wife came out of the house and told the men that the lights in the house were strangely flickering very fast. They glanced at the neighbor’s house and saw the same odd fast on and off flashing of the house lights.
Daniel, a retired law enforcement officer, quickly shifted his thinking to assessing the situation as a life time of investigative experience had taught him. Abruptly he looked up and remarked, “My god look at that!”
The other family members looked up and they all saw a triangle shaped craft appear out of virtually nowhere out on the horizon. As the craft drew closer to their neighborhood the lights on the whole block began to flicker more rapidly. As the Triangle craft moved over the block the lights flickered out completely and the whole block was dark. Mark tells us that it was perhaps only about 500 or 600 feet above the neighborhood houses. The craft was reported to be the length of a football field and appeared to be at least two stories think.
The craft slowly passed overhead and headed in the opposite direction from which it came slowly gaining a bit of altitude as it went. They report that the craft just stopped, hovered for perhaps two or three minutes. Then the most remarkable thing happened, the craft silently split into two equal halves. After which each half departed in opposite direction, at mind numbing speed.
After the respective craft(s) left the area all the street lights and household lights came back on nearly instantly.
Mark says, “It was the longest 15 minutes of his life.”
Let’s look at some other recent sighting in New York Skies:
11 April 2014: at about 8 p.m. a Rochester, NY resident and his granddaughter observed three orange lights in the sky. He says that two of them were clearly following the first object at a constant speed then they all abruptly stopped and hovered for about a minute then disappeared.
13 April 2014: at about midnight a Binghamton, NY amateur astronomer observed objects crossing back and forth in front of the moon, shadows were seen for a short time until the objects disappeared completely
17 April 2014: at about 11:30 p.m. a Vestal, NY resident witnessed three lights that move to form a in a “tight triangle.” The triangle formation seemed to have a “sway and bobbing motion” the observer says that it reminded him of a “boat anchored in the harbor.”
19 April 2014: at about 9 p.m. a NYC couple witnessed a bright red-orange light pulsating and moving fast across the sky from North to South, much faster than any common aircraft.
20 April 2014: at about 8:30 p.m. a North Babylon, NY couple witnessed, two glowing red orbs appeared in the western sky. The orbs were slightly pulsating and next to each horizontally, traveling South from the North West. Each of the orbs faded from sight.
24 April 2014: at about 8:30 p.m. a Pearl River, NY resident observed a red-orange ball of light that seemed to dart around while moving on a Westward course. The object turned North then vanished.
24 April 2014: at about 9 p.m. a Melville resident observed a Stationary star like object emitting 3 colors; white, red, blue in different variations. She reports that the object was too far away to determine the exact shape or any other details.
