The Dr. E.M. Mills Rose Garden is located in Thornden Park near the campus of Syracuse University. Established in 1922, the garden contains plants from the original garden and has about 29 classes of roses in about 368 different varieties. Roughly 3, 850 plants surround the central gazebo. Syracuse Rose Society members work in the Mills Garden Wednesday mornings from spring through fall. ((PHOTOS) Mills Rose Garden
