A Very Good Year

During 2011, Stone Quarry Hill Art Park, just outside Cazenovia, hosted an exhibition devoted to Dorothy Riester’s artworks and her contributions to the art park. The Community Folk Art Center celebrated its 40th anniversary by displaying a range of artworks from its permanent collection.

Photographer Alec Soth gave it a shot (so to speak), and the results are on display at the Everson Museum of Art. From Here to There: Alec Soth’s America presents a large selection of Soth’s photos taken during the past 15 years in various locales: up and down the Mississippi River, near Niagara Falls, in Texas and Minnesota.
