The fourth annual “Drive-In Night” at Rome’s Capitol Theatre, 220 W. Dominick St., presents a vintage creature-feature double bill of 35mm prints on Friday, July 29, 7 p.m. Ray Harryhausen’s intricate stop-motion special effects highlight the 1957 sci-fi flick 20 Million Miles to Earth (top), which involves an outer-space dinosauresque whatzit that terrorizes Rome, Italy’s various landmarks. And 1961’s Mothra (above, and dig the crazy ad campaign!) offers more king-size destructions of papier-mache models of Tokyo skyscrapers, presented in the original subtitled Japanese version. Special concession treats include grilled wienies and burgers to go with the usual popcorn and soda. Adults are $4, with kids getting in for $1. For details, call 337-6453.
