Angie Renna, vice president of financial services at AXA, along with her dance partner, Roy Shipman, bested the competition Saturday, April 9, to take home first place in the annual Dancing With Our Stars extravaganza. While New Times publisher Bill Brod looked dapper in his pink Chuck Taylors, those shoes did not provide him and his partner Linda Facciponte enough of an edge. Perhaps if he borrows Walt Shepperd’s purple Converse next year he’ll have a better chance.
