10 Years After

The cold-case murder of Jill-Lyn Euto haunts the community still, and friends and family of the slain 18-year-old gathered outside her 600 James St. apartment on Jan. 27 to mark the somber occasion. Euto’s mother Joanne Browning found her daughter’s body on Jan. 29, 2001, after Jill-Lyn didn’t show up for a family Super Bowl party.

The strongest advocate for a solution to the crime, Browning, died in October 2007. Until Euto’s killer is found, the case will remain open and vexed by the following truth: Someone is getting away with murder.
