Party for a Cure

A cancer research fund-raiser will lure a selection of Central New York musicmakers to The Castaways, 916 County Route 37, Brewerton, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 1 to 6 p.m. The Hope for Heather foundation, created in memory of ovarian cancer advocate Heather Weeks, will receive the afternoon’s donations, which should be big considering the fan bases of these titanic tuneful talents: Hip Replacement (1 p.m.), Lonesome Crow (2 p.m.), The Gary Dunes Band (3 p.m.), The Original Todd Hobin Band (4 p.m.), The Coachmen (pictured; 5 p.m.) and Dan Elliott and the Monterays
(6 p.m.). Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for children under 12, with
a food buffet included and information booths on the premises. For
