Syracuse University

.
. . . . . .

I never imagined I would be attending college at SU. But
when I talked with an adviser at University College, I discovered that
even as a part-time student, there were endless possibilities open to
me. There are more than 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs
to choose from, and if my schedule can’t accommodate regular
semester-long classes, I have options.

Courses are offered in the evenings, during the day,
online and through flexible formats such as Weekend College and
accelerated courses. UC’s part-time tuition rates are affordable
through scholarships and grants, tax credits and programs such as the
Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP). These
benefits, combined with a number of support services, guide students
toward successful completion of a college degree.

As an SU student, you have access to computing labs and
classrooms equipped with the latest multimedia technologies. Part-time
students can take advantage of all campus resources and services,
including the Career Services Network (CSN), academic support through
tutoring, and access to the Office of Disability Services as well as
social, educational and athletic events. You can choose from more than
300 recognized student organizations, which support your personal and
professional interests.

When you become a student, you experience something
larger than education. You become a part of a community, connected to
other students, alumni, athletic teams, research developments and the
larger world. This has helped me to realize the impact I can have on
not only my own future, but on others. It has given me a new
perspective on my life.

When I started, I was excited, but nervous. As my
confidence grew, so did my determination. Now I take every opportunity
to share what it means to be a nontraditional learner. See my blog at
UCconnections.blogspot.com to read more about my experiences as a
part-time student at SU.

Go SU part time and I guarantee it will change your life
in ways you never imagined. Call 443-9378 or visit www.parttime.syr.edu
to get started.
