{Kilcher} has managed to carry her folky sound through two decades of
musical success. Outside of the success of her breakthrough 1995 album Pieces of You (East West), Jewel has gone on to write two books, a collection of poetry titled A Night Without Armor
in 1998 and her autobiography Chasing Down the Dawn in 2000, in
addition to spreading her artistic efforts into the world of painting.
The artist will perform at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom, Thruway Exit 33, Verona, on Thursday, Feb. 5, 8 p.m. Tickets are $55-$70. For more information, call 361-SHOW.
