Local expert on the singer-songwriter circuit, Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers, will host this month’s run of the Words and Music Songwriter Showcase on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Jazz Central, 411 E. Washington St. The National Public Radio contributor and musician in his own right will invite Colleen Kattau and Some Guys to the stage, along with Jeff Connor and Dana “Short Order” Cooke, to perform music from their original catalogues.
