The 13th annual Madison County Hops Festival,
a celebration of the culture that loves adding flavor to beer, takes
place on Saturday, Sept. 13, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Madison County Historical Society,
435 Main St., Oneida. This year’s event will focus on the fact that
Madison County itself is celebrating its 200th birthday. Events will
include brewing demonstrations, live entertainment and tasting sessions
featuring the wares of 25 local breweries and others attractions.
Admission is free to attend historical and demonstrative programs,
while brew sampling tickets will cost $30 at the door. For more
