Fall In

.
. . . . . .

While the vibrant colors of a Central
New York autumn regrettably mark the end of sunny, beach-filled days,
the cooler, pre-winter weather serves as the perfect atmosphere for
fall wrap-ups, including the Golden Harvest Festival. Held annually at Beaver Lake Nature Center,
8477 E. Mud Lake Road, Baldwinsville, this year’s run takes place on
Saturday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m. to 5
p.m. Sample from the festival’s fall-flavored food, including some
delectable doughnuts, play nature-themed games, and enjoy musical acts
such as the Joe Whiting Band, Westcott Jug Suckers, Los Blancos
and many others. Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for children ages 6 to
17, and free for children ages 5 and younger. For more information,
call 638-2519.
