Holy shite: The leprechauns are coming! The luck of the Irish will again swell during the ninth run of the Syracuse Irish Festival,
starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, and at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
Sept. 6. Along with a sampling of the culture of the Emerald Isle and
all things Celtic, the festival will include a variety of national
musical acts, including The Elders at 9:45 p.m. on Friday and 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, and Enter the Haggis at 4:05 and 9:50 p.m. on Saturday. Local musicians The Flying Column will take to the stage at 5 p.m. on Friday, while Ceili Rain will entertain at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free to the green gala, to be held at downtown’s Clinton Square. For more information, call 426-2813.
