Fair and Wide

.
. . . . . .

The New York State Fair will come
to a close this week, giving you one last chance to check out some of
the fun happening at Central New York’s agricultural blowout. If you’re
looking for something to do, be sure to check out some of these
festivities: Banana Derby Monkey Racing will take place daily near the Mohegan Sun Grandstand at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.; a War Dance Contest will take place at the Indian Village
on Friday, Aug. 29, starting at 3 p.m.; and, of course, the daily
parade will continue to run throughout the State Fairgrounds at 6 p.m.
Admission to the Fair is $10. Many other events are listed at
www.nysfair.org, or call (800) 475-FAIR.
