Double Your Pleasure

Playwright Brian Dykstra is no stranger to the Kitchen Theatre Company, having written three gut-busting dramas from the Ithaca playhouse’s recent bills. Dykstra’s latest work, The Two of You,
will kick off the new season at the Kitchen, 117 N. Cayuga St., on
Wednesday, Aug. 20, 7:30 p.m. Dykstra’s love story places two women
(Heather Frase and Nance Williamson) in the dramatic throes of wordplay
when a gentleman suitor (Matthew Boston) makes a visit; the
playwright’s typical verbal frolicking should highlight the work’s
cathartic range of emotions. Performances run through Sept. 21, with
show times on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and
Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 4 p.m. Tickets range from $21 to
