Stone Temple Pilots are hitting the road after nearly eight years off the tour bus, and Canandaigua is one of their stops. The alt-rock band will perform Tuesday, July 15, 7:30 p.m., at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center at Finger Lakes Community College, 4355 Lakeshore Drive, Canandaigua. Famous for their hits “Big Empty” and “Plush,” Stone Temple Pilots went their separate ways after winning a Grammy and selling 35 million albums worldwide. In 2008, having split from his side project Velvet Revolver, frontman Scott Weiland has reunited with his original bandmates for a North American tour. Reserved tickets are $40, $50 and $60; lawn seats are $30. For more information, call (585) 758-5300.
