Artists Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard continued to create art even after World War II touched their lives in the town of Cassis, France. Their heart-wrenching back story, which conflates art and war, forms the heart of Resisting Paradise, screening Thursday, March 6, 2 and 7 p.m., at Onondaga Community College’s Storer Auditorium, 4941 Onondaga Road. Following both shows, director Barbara Hammer will lead question and answer sessions about her relationship with the film’s story. Admission to the screenings and discussions are free. For more information, call 498-ARTS.
